A day packed with fun and adventure for the whole family on Brownsea Island.

First stop is Church Field where you will find friendly countryside volunteers who help look after this special environment.  They’ll be ready and waiting to chat to you about the important jobs they do on the island and you’ll learn how to help your own environment at home by taking away your very own packet of bee friendly wildflower seeds.

Play in the woodland, follow our free nature trails, climb trees and hunt for bugs.  Bring a picnic and take part in fun games and nature crafts. Dorset Wildlife Trust will show you some incredible moths and take you on a walk of the bird hides in the reserve.

From Saturday May 26 -  Sunday June 3 enjoy the brand new creative nature trail featuring crayon rubbing.  

You can also get up close and personal to Brownsea bugs on our mini beast safaris, running Monday – Friday of the May Half Term 2018.
