October in Poole is a time to enjoy the changing autumnal colours in beautiful Poole Park where there is plenty for all the family, with play parks and cafes. Poole park is not just for ducks (or the infamously noisy Canada geese!) - there is plenty of diverse bird life to spot, so much so that they have their own website!
While at the park why not challenge the family to a spot of crazy golf?
If indoors activities are on the cards, Poole Museum never disappoints. Then follow this up with a brisk walk along the Quay and marvel at the Sea Music sculpture.
With Halloween this month, we’ll keep you posted with ideas for fun and spooky days out – just follow us on our channels to find out more as event information is released.
To find out more about what events are happening, please visit the What's On pages of our local venues: Lighthouse Poole's Centre for the Arts, Poole Museum and Upton Country Park.
One to watch for Halloween fun is Upton Country Park in Poole. Check their what’s on pages for coming events. Throughout October crunch the leaves, let the little ones enjoy Spurrier’s play park, then enjoy a visit to the tea rooms and admire the walled gardens.
