As the official tourist board for the resort, it’s our mission to market Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole as an inspiring holiday destination, encouraging visitors from the UK and overseas to experience the best of the South Coast lifestyle.
We work closely together with our members and partners via the Destination Management Board (DMB) and respective Marketing Groups and various other sub groups including the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Attractions Group and Transport Group.
We run professionally staffed Resort Tourist Information Centres throughout the year. Located at Pier Approach in Bournemouth and in the Poole Museum adjacent to Poole Quay. We received nearly 7 million visitors to Bournemouth Seafront to include Lower Gardens and Pier Approach where Bournemouth Tourist Information Centre is based and nearly 35,000 visitors to Poole Tourist Information Centre/Museum.
It is important to highlight that we are a non-profit making organisation. All income generated from partnership fees and paid for initiatives are directly re-invested into promoting the destination and creating business for you.
Into 2022 we will continue to build and maintain confidence and trust amongst past, present and potential visitors and influence them to book their staycation in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. Our strategic focus is to deliver a 'Feels like Campaign' via our digital and social platforms and various marketing, and PR activities.

We have produced engaging blogs and itineraries during each phase of lockdown to suit local audiences and when appropriate, theses have been used to support relevant projects including the VisitEngland national “Escape the Everyday” campaign.
We have created digital content to showcase how our partners have been agile and flexible in responding to safety and lockdown measures offering online food services, activities and virtual events.
Our team organise regular press and blogger trips to Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch which highlight the beautiful resorts with specific itineraries and partner support, 2021 highlights included visits from Melissa Riddell (Belfast Radio Presenter and influencer), Garry Spence (The Scottish Daily Mail), Gemma Louise-Bond (That Belfast Girl) and a collaboration with VisitEngland and Greg Rutherford.
