• Intergalactic Explorer Trail: (Saturday 24 October – Sunday 1 November). Become an Intergalactic Explorer this Halloween! Meet aliens Dara, Astra, Izar, and Estelle who have crash-landed at the park. Pick up a trail sheet from the Welcome Centre between 10am and 3pm for £4.50, which includes an out-of-this-world cuddly toy prize. Fancy dress is highly encouraged! (Note: The trail is weather-dependent, check their social media before travel if it's very windy).
• Conkers Magical Earth Academy at Rock & Rose Rituals: (Saturday 10 – Saturday 31 October). Step into a place where curious minds and wild imaginations flourish! Budding alchemists and aspiring witches and wizards can enjoy masterclasses in Halloween Potion Making, Wand Making, and Autumn Magic Candle Making & Scent Blending. Advance booking required.

Half-term Things to do

As well as all this spookiness, there's also plenty of reasons to head out for some half term fun.

Over at Bournemouth Pier, RockReef has a huge range of indoor adventure activities with different challenges available to suit all the family. Climb the clip 'n climb climbing walls, take on the HighLine aerial obstacle course or explore the tunnels in the pier cave!

The Tank Museum will be celebrating half term with action-packed activities. Experience the biggest day out in history with 100 years of history, 300 tanks, kids activities, and more at Dorset’s largest indoor attraction.  

Halloween with Professor Fizzle at Discovery Village

‍If you have younger children, head to Discovery Village in Christchurch for a brilliant "scare-free" Halloween adventure. Kids will help the clumsy Professor Fizzle overcome their fear of Halloween by building a robot named BRAVE! Search the role-play village with UV lights, follow a gentle trail, and finish with a glowing Power Cell dance and a chocolatey treat. Best of all, it's included in the standard play session price!
