The main shopping quarter of Poole is just a short stroll from the bustling quayside. A 15- to 20-minute stroll will take you through the lower high street and onto the main pedestrianised high street, all the way up to the main indoor shopping complex.

The Dolphin Shopping Centre is Poole’s signature indoor, modern shopping complex, featuring over 80 stores with leading high-street brands, independent retailers, and specialist stores. There are also several cafes and coffee shops in the centre to enjoy in between browsing the stores.

Continued investment in the centre ensures that visitors have a fabulous shopping experience. Within the Dolphin Shopping Centre, you will find state-of-the-art toilets located on the first floor with lift access. As well as changing facilities and increased wheelchair accessibility, the new toilets boast separate, larger family rooms with changing facilities and a baby feeding room.

The regeneration of Kingland Crescent just outside the main centre is part of an ambitious and unique initiative by the owners of the Dolphin Shopping Centre and has been featured in the New York Times. Kingland brings together the cream of Dorset’s most innovative young retail entrepreneurs in one exciting environment in the town centre.

Both Poole Retail Park in Branksome and Wessex Gate Retail Park, located on Broadstone Way (A3439), offer a selection of larger superstore shops just outside of town.

Over in the neighbouring town of Bournemouth, you will discover Castlepoint Shopping Complex, the largest shopping park in the UK.
