Respect, Protect & Enjoy Poole
Our number one priority right now is ensuring that people are able to enjoy our beautiful resort in a safe and responsible way; looking after our local community, our visitors and precious environment.
Poole alone boasts the world’s second largest natural harbour, quay, stunning beaches and acres of parks and gardens and open spaces so there’s more than enough to go around.
If you are planning to visit Poole and the surrounding area, please follow the simple steps below on how to RESPECT, PROTECT and ENJOY the resort when you are here.
Respect Poole
- Respect our beautiful beaches. We recommend downloading the Beach Check App which allows you to access information on how busy the beaches and car park in resort are. Why not head inland and discover our beautiful green open spaces and riverside walks.
- Respect our local communities by sticking to the Public Right of Way (footpaths and bridleways), keeping dogs on the lead, not picnicking on private land, not parking outside people’s houses, and #LeaveOnlyFootprints by taking your litter home.
- Respect the wildlife. Nature may have reclaimed some areas, so please tread carefully and look out for wildlife that has moved into unexpected places. Please keep your dog on the lead and stick to footpaths and bridleways so as not to disturb ground nesting birds and other wildlife.
- Respect any specific guidelines that have been put in place by our friends and partners across the wider county, by planning ahead before travelling, and checking what facilities are open to you.
