November is a great time to enjoy a crisp walk at one of many incredible locations in Poole. Beautiful Compton Acres offers a contrasting spectacular! Start off in the Italian gardens, with its ornate statues, then head for a change of culture with the Japanese gardens and admire the koi carp as you cross the stepping stones.
Always a winner with children is Poole Park where there is plenty for all the family. Upton Country Park is also a perfect trip out for the family with Spurrier’s play park and a visit to the tea rooms after!
If indoors activities are needed, stroll along the Quay and visit Poole Museum which never disappoints.
If you wish to venture out with the family, then a visit to Poole or Bournemouth at Christmas is a must.
With Bonfire night this month, Poole Quay plays host to a free family event and firework display.
