About
Take On Me is a new show set amongst the 1980s world of headbands and legwarmers that digs below the surface of the luminous colours and fitness fads. Taking place after hours in Rossmore Leisure Centre you’ll be divided into small groups to be a fly on the wall as you’re led through the pool, the changing rooms and the pool and to hear the inner voices of a variety of characters as they strive for a better version of themselves.
Performed by a company of professional actors with a supporting guest cast of local people; and set to live acoustic versions of classic 80’s pop hits Take On Me is an intimate and comical experience. You’ll never look at your local leisure centre in the same way again.
