About

Artist Anastasia Pollard will join us for our Sunset Evening on 25 September, to paint a portrait of a live model in the Cafe Gallery.

Anastasia was trained at the Florence Academy of Art and has won many awards, including the Ondaatje Prize for Portraiture at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters Annual Exhibition and the Artist's House Gallery Award. Her painting 'Corrine' was selected for the BP Portrait Award in 2017.

Anastasia teaches portraiture and figurative classes at the Classical Art Academy in Bournemouth.Come along and see the skills used to create a portrait, and chat to Anastasia about her artistry and techniques. The Russell-Cotes is full of exquisite portraiture, and we are delighted to have this opportunity to see how such paintings are created.
