About

Brought to you by Hangover Hill Recording Studio and Lighthouse, Live And Unheard is designed to give talented, original artists a different platform on which to showcase their own material. Over the coming months you will see a variety of genres, hear some incredible songwriters and enjoy musical performances where artists can really be themselves.

This month we have…

Sirpico

Based in Bournemouth, Al Sirpico (Piano & Lead Vocals), Dan ‘The Fury’ Meazza (Guitar & Backing Vocals), Paul Finch (Bass & Backing Vocals) and Tim ‘Pidge’ Pidgeley (Drums) are Sirpico. Their guitar driven sound is complimented by Al’s distinctive clear and punchy vocals. The piano fills the mix, each track intricately composed, their tight musicianship making for an immersive and atmospheric listen. The high-octane live performances will leave you buzzing and energised.

ChimneyFish

ChimneyFish are an eclectic duo featuring Ray Russell on double bass and Mark Wilton-Patrick on guitar and vocals. The songs are unapologetically rustic as they meander through folk, rock’n’roll, country and jazz. Highly individual and very entertaining, this is a musical autobiography from two musicians who have been writing, playing and performing for over 30 years.

Wendy Jane

Wendy Jane is a folk/world influenced singer/songwriter from the New Forest. She plays piano, flute, guitar, harp and sings with a gentle warmth and care for the world around her and those who inhabit it. She has spent over a decade directing and teaching others in musical theatre and choral settings and through one to tuition but her passion is to reach others with her own compositions.
