About

Established in 1988, Sandbanks Beach Volleyball Festival is one of the longest standing beach volleyball events in the UK.

It has a rich history in producing and showcasing some of the UK's top players. Many interantional players have claimed the junior titles at Sandbanks including Zara Dampney, Jake Sheaf, Jess Grimson and Harry Jones.

The event is the highlight of the Wessex Volleyball Club calendar and they have operated the event since it was established.

The event continues to improve year on year and has now been integrated into the UK Beach Tour calendar.

The 2019 Sandbanks Beach Volleyball Festival will play host to 3 separate events. We are delighted to announce that this year the junior event will once again be the official UK Beach Tour Junior Championships. Alongside this will be one leg of the Deep Dish Beach Series, which falls under the main UK Beach Tour and a four a-side event will complete this mouth watering line up of beach volleyball action!
