Roy Fraser
About
This Black and White landscape photography exhibition is a celebration of the beautiful coastline in Dorset. There are many iconic locations to show off that are known throughout the world such as Durdle Door and the Cobb at Lyme Regis.
This collection of images will include these but also include more minimalistic compositions from lesser known places. Black and White photography, it is said, exposes far better than colour the line and form of a landscape composition.
Roy Fraser is a local photographer based in Broadstone. He has, for the past 40 years been running a school photography company, Fraser Portraits, taking pictures of children in schools throughout the UK.
Recently Roy has been shooting black and white landscape photographs of Dorset and other locations throughout the UK and abroad. He prefers to shoot in a minimalistic way to try and capture the 'essence' of a location.
