Poole Dream Machines *Start of 2020 season delayed until September*

Dream Machines row of bikes along a row of palm trees

DREAM MACHINES Motorcycle Evenings – Start of 2020 season delayed until 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th September 2020.

Owing to the ongoing situation regarding the Coronavirus, BCP Council has carefully considered the government guidance and with the clear indication that the easing of restrictions will rightly be taken in a very slow and measured way, along with the need to maintain social distancing requirements, it is no longer possible for this event to be able to go ahead until at least the beginning of September. This decision was not taken lightly and took full account of ensuring the safety of all event attendees, spectators, contractors, staff and our local residents. This decision also applies to all other planned events due to take place on Council owned land up until the end of August which includes Summer fireworks and the Bournemouth Air Festival.

We will continue to monitor the situation, including taking the relevant Government advice, and we will keep you informed. The latest information will also be posted on the Poole Tourism website. During this period of delay, we would ask that all riders respectfully observe the position.

The entire Quay is closed off to all traffic, except bikes. Numbers of motorbikes attending can reach 1000 on busy nights. The display features a wide range of models and makes, many of which have been modified and fitted with interesting features and extras.

The event creates a unique, exciting atmosphere as bikers and spectators enjoy a relaxed evening on Poole Quay. The backdrop of the quay and harbour offers the perfect location and there is a great selection of waterside cafes, bars, restaurants and food kiosks offering refreshment, many with bike night specials on their menus.

When the main quayside area becomes full there is a second arena at Harbourside Park available.

If you are interested in trading at the Poole Dream Machines event, please fill out our Poole Events Form to register your interest.

The event is sponsored by Coles Miller Solicitors
