Pavilion Tea Dance

Pavilion Tea Dance

About

Internationally acclaimed organist Michael Wooldridge is delighted to be returning with his music for dancing to Bournemouth’s Pavilion Ballroom for afternoon Tea Dances featuring a mix of Ballroom, Latin and popular Sequences Dances. Already hugely popular as resident dance organist at the Assembly Hall in Worthing and on Europe’s largest Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe Organ at the East Sussex National, Michael has enjoyed playing for dancing throughout the UK, including at the famous Winter Gardens in both Eastbourne and in Blackpool, where he has also played in concert and for dancing at the famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

For his Bournemouth Pavilion Dances, Michael is delighted to be joined again by top singer Emily Matthews, who, following a time appearing in West End Musicals, including creating a role in Sir Trevor Nunn’s four million pound musical production of Gone With The Wind, is now enjoying life singing in dance and function bands throughout London and the south, including period harmony group The Haywood Sisters, top swing and soul function band Down For The Count and Michael’s band, The Organisation.

Together, Michael and Emily bring with them a wealth of experience in music and song for entertainment and dancing.
Other visiting artists include, Samara Stanton; Cameron Lloyd; Chiho Sunamoto and Jon Smith.
