Mike Jeffries - Building Colour

About
Our chairman Mike Jeffries is a highly accomplished watercolour artist and has given more than 500 hours of his time to create new artworks for an exhibition at Lighthouse in the 2nd Floor Foyer.
Mike Jeffries trained as an architect and has painted over the years concentrating on architectural subjects and street scenes. Since moving from London to Poole nearly twenty years ago, he has branched out into other areas including marine painting and landscapes.
He travels overseas a lot and usually paints scenes associated with his travels abroad as well as London and local subjects. His paintings are hanging in homes around the world, including Australia, North America and Europe as well as the UK.
On 12 April he’ll be hosting a VIP private view with some 90 paintings on show as part of the formal launch of LH40. Mike has very generously decided to split the proceeds of sales equally between Lighthouse and Diverse Abilities. This exhibition marks the start of Lighthouse’s 40th Birthday year. To support our celebrations and to support future artists at Lighthouse, Mike is donating 50% of any sales to Lighthouse and 50% to Diverse Abilities.
