Join the Archive Team on Tuesday 28 Nov, 5 Dec, 12 Dec or the Salvage Team on Thursday 30 Nov, 7 Dec, 14 Dec for a brilliant ‘behind the scenes’ look at our Castle Collection.

Ticket includes a behind the scenes talk, entry to the Castle and mulled wine and a mince pie in the State Dining Room.

The experience

You will enjoy around 30 minutes with the teams in our ‘behind the scenes’ room to enjoy a talk on our archive or salvage collection and learn about how we preserve and conserve the artefacts on site.

You will then make your way to the State Dining Room to enjoy a mulled wine and mince pie.

Access to the Castle is included in the ticket price. Following your refreshments you will then be able to explore the building at your leisure and see our fascinating new exhibition ‘Pieces of our Past’.

Car Parking

Please use the pay and display car park on site.

Arrival

On arrival to the site, please make your way to the Castle gift shop and show your ticket. The team will be there to greet you.

Accessibility

The Castle is fully accessible but please email commercial@highcliffecastle.co.uk should you require use of our lifts or level access during your visit.
