The Essence of Plants – A tour of the distillery including watching a live distillation and talk on “How plants are distilled into essential oils”.

Scented Garden Tours – A tour around the gardens dedicated to perfumery and scent. An opportunity to find out what makes Keyneston Mill and Parterre Fragrances so unique.

A Scent for September – What scents conjure up a balmy late summer day to you? Come and sample a selection of beautiful essential oils and then using September as your inspiration, blend a basic fragrance to take home. Includes a 10ml bottle of your personal blend.

Mini-Workshops

Our creative workshops explore many aspects of the world of scent.  Our programme includes topic areas such as perfume, floristry, botanical cocktails and essential oils. These simple, hands-on workshops are aimed to give you a “taster” of the full programme of workshops that Keyneston Mill offers throughout the year. Learn how to make botanical inspired cocktails using a range of scented herbs and flowers and more.

Exhibitions & Experiences

An exhibition celebrating how nature can provide inspiration and ingredients for the world of perfume.

Enjoy immersive experiences that bring scent alive. A collaboration with artists to create scented rooms that will change your perception of scent; from famous movies to idyllic gardens. Plus other attractions including The Scent Bar.

Parisian Jazz Evenings

As part of our Festival of Scent, we are hosting joyful jazz evenings to bring a bit of Parisian nightlife to Dorset! Two nights of live music, great French food, fine wine and scent themed film – each night with a slightly different flavour.

The films will be shown outdoors, weather permitting, with comfortable seating, fire pits, lanterns and candles adding to the ambience. The Scented Botanist bar will be available throughout the evening, serving French red, rose and white wines plus champagne, beer and after-dinner coffees.

Evening ticket includes live music, three course meal & film.

Admission £75 per-person
