Stompin' on the Quomps

Music on stage on a sunny day

Stompin on The Quomps is a non-profit annual smooth Jazz and Music Festival designed to appeal to all age groups and music fans alike, situated in the picturesque surroundings of Christchurch Quay. It features a wide range of the very best Jazz talent from the local area and further afield.

Each year, a host of local food and drink producers provide a wide selection of culinary delights for our audience.

All our food and drink traders have achieved a level 5 food hygiene rating so you can be sure of eating top quality food.

The beautiful Christchurch Quay is the idyllic location for Stompin’ on the Quomps. With both a festival stage and the victorian wrought iron bandstand in use, the music is non-stop from noon till night.

We have another great band line up for 2024 and will be announcing it in mid-June.

Map & Directions

Road Directions

If you drive to Stompin' this year, the Priory car park and the area around Christchurch Quay gets exceptionally congested. We recommend Mayors Mead at the north east end of the Quomps, or the Wick Lane car park behind the Regent centre. You can walk from Bank Close and Bridge Street car parks in less than 10 minutes.

Public Transport Directions

There are frequent buses to Christchurch High Street, a few minutes' walk from Christchurch Quay. Christchurch Railway Station is a leisurely 15-minute walk, or a short taxi ride.
