Scream! A virtual murder mystery challenge for Halloween

Six days of monstrous mayhem and murder in the run up to Halloween.

It is the night of the Monsters' AGM and their leader, the notorious Granny is going to announce her retirement. Everyone wants to be her successor and will go to any lengths to ensure they get the job....

Featuring Dracula, The Bride of Frankenstein, Jekyll and Hyde, Wizards, witches and more, the event is lighthearted and fun for all. (we promise no horror or gore!)

Played over six days at times convenient to you, with a live interrogation on Friday 30th October. Join our award winning team online to watch the evidence, examine the clues, interrogate the suspects and catch the killer(s).

How does it work

Starting on the 27th October, with video footage and clues will be sent to you each day and a live interrogation of the monsters to take part in on the evening of Friday 30th October. Join us if you dare!

How to play

On Monday 26th October, you will receive your joining instructions, explaining how to play and introducing the story and the suspects.

The on Tuesday 27th, and again on Wednesday and Thursday evening you will receive video footage, evidence, clues and information to view at a time convenient to your household. Examine the evidence and solve the clues.

Then on the evening of Friday 30th October, you will be invited to take part in a 'live' Q & A session with all the monstrous suspects. (Feel free to dress up if you would like to (purely optional) . Plan your questions to uncover the killer(s) and solve the crime.

You now have until midnight on Saturday 31st (Halloween night!) to submit your answer!

All is then revealed on Sunday evening!

Prize: £50 Amazon voucher (winner to be chosen at random from all correct who-dunnit entries received).

Please note: In order to take part in the challenge, your device will need to have the facility to play video. This could be a phone, ipad, laptop, computer etc..

Q: Do I have to play at a particular time each day?

No, if you register to take part, you will receive an email each day containing new clues and video footage. You can choose to view and discuss the materials sent at anytime convenient to you.

As part of the production we will be hosting live suspect interrogation sessions (via Zoom video conferencing). We hope you will join us and ask your questions, however for anyone who is not able to attend, or would prefer not to, a video of the sessions will be made available afterwards, so you will not miss a thing. By taking part in the live interrogation session you are giving your agreement to being recorded and having the session placed as an unlisted youtube video for the period of one week.
