BOURNEMOUTH INTERNATIONAL TRIATHLON

Bournemouth has been selected to host the Great Britian Age Group 2025 Team Qualifier for the European Championships! Make sure you book early as we sold out in 2023 with over 100 on the waiting list!

Bournemouth International Triathlon is located on the west side of Bournemouth Pier. Both sprint and standard distance swims start on the award-winning blue flag beach just under the zig zag of West Cliff Gardens before heading out of Bournemouth on a fast bike course towards the market town of Ringwood on the edge of The New Forest. You then finish by running along the promenade to finish back on the sand!

You have the most fantastic opportunity to qualify and compete for the GB Age group team at Bournemouth as it hosts the Standard Distance European Qualifier. To find out more please see HERE. You can also give the Aquathlon a shot and submit your time to BTF to see if you can qualify for their multisport team!

Sprint Distance Triathlon: 750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run

European 2025 British Triathlon Age Group Qualifier - Standard Distance Triathlon: 1500m swim, 40km bike, 10km run (Novices welcome) *To qualify for the GB Age Group Team athletes must register their intent to qualify before 5pm on the Friday before the race (06.09.2024). Aquathlon Sprint: 750m swim, 5km run

Aquabike Standard: 1500m swim, 40km bike

Bournemouth was one of the first Triathlons to hit the South Coast. It has been raced by thousands including Olympians and Triathletes that went onto to become pros!
