Poole plays host to a range of events and festivals throughout the calendar year. Themes have ranged from art to sports to music, with many becoming popular annual events.

Every year, the event programme at Poole offers a mixture of fun and popular events, from bike nights to firework extravaganzas.

The popular 'Bike Nights on Poole Quay' event is known as the UK's biggest and best weekly bike meet. The Miniature Steam Festival on Poole Quay takes place in June & September as we celebrate the sights, sounds, and smells of the age of steam. Taking place across six Thursdays in the summer, Poole Quay's Summer Spectacular Fireworks will see family fun and live music staged at the Quay before finishing with a fireworks finale at 10pm.

Enjoy 'Car Nights on Poole Quay' on Friday nights in July & August, and in September, you can enjoy the Bournemouth Air Festival, which sees three days of amazing aircraft displays in Bournemouth.

The polo at Sandbanks returns (the British Beach Polo Championships) and is the largest beach polo event in the world.

Sandfest is a destination festival like no other in the UK. Due to luxury properties, pristine south coast sand and celebrity residents.
