Beacon Lightings and Fireworks

On Thursday evening 2 June each of the three towns of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole will take part in the national beacon lighting ceremony, attended by their mayors, all lightings are at 9.45pm.

The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Beacons is the first community event of the four-day Jubilee Weekend.

The beacon lighting for Poole will be at Sandbanks.

Lighting will take place at 9.45 pm followed by fireworks in the bay.

Park and Ride

A Park & Ride service will be available with additional evening journeys every 15 minutes being provided on Morebuses’ Service 60 from Poole to Sandbanks giving a quick and convenient option to visit the event.
