Bournemouth is looking forward to welcoming people back to the beach this summer and in anticipation of our busy periods we are providing a convenient Park & Ride service to use.
Don’t waste precious time struggling to find a parking space when you can catch the Park & Ride Beach Bus which can save you money too!
Our Park & Ride site in Kings Park (by the Stadium) is clearly signposted off the A338 Wessex Way and costs just £5 all day. FREE Buses leave every 15 minutes from 0900 and you will be conveniently dropped right by Boscombe Pier.
Buses return from the same stop at Boscombe Pier every 15 minutes with the last bus at 1845.
From Saturday 28th May – Sunday 5th June inclusive, all Saturdays and Sundays in June/July and daily from Saturday 23rd July - Wednesday 31st August inclusive.
Please note: the service will not operate on days when AFCB are playing at home (either a daytime or evening match). Dates of matches are:

An innovative new ‘Park & Cycle’ scheme is now available at Kings Park giving visitors another great way of getting to the beach this summer.
A fleet of Beryl bikes has been installed at Kings Park car park and are ready for public hire. From Sunday 1st August to 5th September the first 20-minutes of bike hire journeys starting from Kings Park will be free – perfect for a leisurely ride to the beach.
Simply download the Beryl App to register and unlock a free bike, enjoy your ride and park in one of the marked “Beryl Bays” by the beach at the end of your journey.
Return bike journeys are charged at the usual rate of £1 to unlock, plus 5 pence per minute. A Beryl e-scooter could also be used as a fun method of transport on the return (unlock £1.50 plus 10 pence per minute). Alternatively the free ‘Park & Ride’ bus from Boscombe Pier can be used to return to your car at Kings Park.
