City Sightseeing Bournemouth is part of the City Sightseeing Worldwide family which operates in scores of cities throughout the world. Hop on and Hop off the bus as much as you like at any of the bus stops on the route and see all the best sights Bournemouth and Poole have to offer. Our friendly drivers are here to look after you and help you, if you have any questions just ask.

There are plenty of options to choose from on your day out including a boat ride from Poole or a bike ride along the route.

City Sightseeing Bournemouth will be operating from 1st April 2023 - 30th September 2023 with its popular route and informing commentary.

STOPS

For your convenience City Sightseeing Bournemouth provides 25 sightseeing stops at some of Bournemouth & Poole’s most interesting places. Westbourne, Canford Cliffs, Sandbanks, Poole Park, Poole Quay & Poole Old Town. There is also a short feeder on the first two runs in the morning serving Bournemouth Station and the East Over Cliff, see timetable for details. The first and last stop of the tour is at Bournemouth Pier, with a variety of main and request stops in between, but you can join the tour at any stop on route just hail the driver as the bus is approaching.

DATES

Join us on a fantastic open top double decker bus tour of Poole Bay and the Sandbanks peninsular. Departing from Bournemouth Pier and Poole Quay, hourly every day from Saturday, 1st April 2023, the tour will take you to all the main sights with fine views across Poole Bay and Poole Harbour along the way.

TICKETS

You can buy your tickets on our website (e-tickets or paper voucher) in advance, on the bus or from one of our ticket sellers by Bournemouth Pier bus stop or Bournemouth Pier Approach and pay cash or card. You can also visit the Bournemouth Tourist Information Centre in front of Bournemouth Pier where you can pay by card. Our Hop-On Hop-Off tickets are available for either 24 hours or 48 hours, combination Bus and Boat or Bus and Bike tickets are also available. We cannot accept English concessionary bus passes.

TIME

The first bus leaves Bournemouth Pier at 10am and the last bus leaves at 5pm. The first bus leaves Poole Quay at 11am and the last bus leaves at 6pm. The service runs hourly.

DURATION

If you decide to stay on board the tour bus for the complete route, it takes about an hour and a half, including a ten minute lay over on Poole Quay.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 

We cannot accept English concessionary bus passes. All dogs welcome on board our buses as long as they are well behaved and kept on a lead. All our buses are wheelchair accessible.

STOPS FOR  EAST CLIFF

For the convenience of visitors staying in hotels on the Eastcliff , we pick up at the Suncliff Hotel and the East Cliff lift bus stops on East Overcliff Drive, at about 09:45 and 10:45, then head down to Bournemouth Pier ready for the first two runs of the day.

Please note that due to road closures the East Overcliff Drive bus stops will not be served during the Bournemouth Air Festival.
