Branksome Dene Room

Branksome dene room beautifully dressed for a wedding

About

Following the latest government advice on social distancing and avoiding public gatherings, BCP Council is taking the sensible precaution to protect the public by reducing some non-essential council services, therefore the Branksome Dene Room will be closed until further notice. A full list of BCP Council service closures can be found here

Welcome to one of the south coast’s most picturesque function spaces.

Perfectly positioned on Poole’s spectacular coastline, the Branksome Dene Room is housed in a 1920s Art Deco pavilion-style chalet overlooking the sweeping bay. With panoramic views over to the Isle of Wight in the east and the Jurassic Coast’s Old Harry Rocks in the west, this is the perfect venue for your next event or family celebration.

Built on the site of the old coastguard station, the Branksome Dene Room was originally a tea house and today remains evocative of the ‘roaring twenties’. The room is nestled in one of the area’s distinctive denes – a narrow, wooded ravine that’s unique to this stretch of the coast. Just metres from the seafront, your guests are merely steps away from golden, sandy beaches.

Branksome Dene Room is equipped with 10 tables and 50 chairs and can hold up to 50 people, plus an extra 30 outside on the patio, which is ideal for summer BBQs.

A food preparation area (complete with power outlets), urn and storage cupboards are available, as well as thermostatically controlled heaters for winter bookings.

So, whether you’re planning your wedding, looking for a meeting space with a difference or searching for a tranquil setting to hold a yoga class, Branksome Dene Room provides a picture-perfect backdrop along the coast with the most.

There is a pay and display car park for up to 150 cars and public toilet facilities attached to the back of the building.

Hire Costs: daytime between £125 - £156 and evening between £211 to £281.  There will be a 5% price increase from April 2020.

We also have a fantastic space in Bournemouth called the PierView Room if this room is not available.
