Jenkins & Sons is a cafe, cocktail bar and restaurant in Penn Hill, Poole. Located in a converted 1920’s fishmongers & butchers, we’re all about selling the finest local meat & fish, cooked over charcoal and served with epic British craft beers. The Jenkins Family were passionate about their craft and we bring the same love for fine cuts of meat, cooked over coals and served with craft beers made locally by people that get all animated about their products. Josper Oven We cook meat and fish over charcoal (no gas or electric) and we use a ‘Josper Oven’. It’s a BBQ in a box that cooks at a very high temperature, instantly sealing the juices into the meat as it hits the heat. Well seasoned and well rested meat and fish cooked over real flames. Be rude not to! Craft at heart We take craft beer seriously and are proud to work closely with the people behind the beers. We stock small batch draughts and unusual bottled beers, many made just down the road and not found anywhere else. Couple that with a team of beer-boffins, who take pride in knowing all about our beers, you can be sure that our bar team are packed full of hoppy facts about each of the brews. This really helps when you’re looking to try new ales, stouts and bitters that aren’t made by giant multi-national brands.
