About

The Haven Hotel is perched at the southern-most point of the unique Sandbanks Peninsula with the sea lapping at its edge and overlooking the broad, beautiful sweep of Poole Bay with sensational views. The perfect setting for guests who expect the highest degree of quality and service plus direct access to seven miles of Blue-Flag awarded beaches and just a few minutes from the Isle of Purbeck. It’s everyone’s gateway to a wonderful South Coast adventure.

Offering a splendid choice of cuisine for guests, and non-residents alike. For breakfast guests will enjoy delicious English and Continental choices in our Peninsula Breakfast Room with wonderful views over Poole Bay. And for lunch or dinner, we would suggest ‘The Point’ restaurant at the water’s edge serving exquisite, mouth-watering cuisine.

The Point restaurant takes waterside dining to a whole new level. With its ambient, elegance and thoughtful interiors emulating the tranquillity of its watery surroundings. We believe dining is an overall experience so you’ll also notice subtle touches such as gold-edged tables, not to mention the beautifully designed tableware, which pays tribute to the quality of the cuisine. Head Chef, Jason Hornbuckle, explains: “Wherever possible we try to use local and sustainable ingredients. Offering diners, the freshest ingredients cooked to perfection.”

And for drinks before or after dinner, or just relaxing at the end of the day, choose a glass of wine or your favourite tipple at the hotel's unique Pavilion Bar with 180 degrees of sea and marine activity views.

Or for guests with a sweet tooth, indulge in an afternoon Cream Tea whilst watching the boats sail by. Our pastry chefs serve freshly baked scones with thick Dorset cream and sticky jam. For an extra special experience, add a selection of delicate cakes, sandwiches or a few bubbles.

The Haven Spa is situated in the east wing of the hotel with its own beach access. The club has facilities to accommodate your every need - the perfect complement to this impressive hotel. Residents may enjoy our indoor and outdoor* swimming pool.
*Outdoor pool seasonally heated.

This hotel has eighty-four beautifully furnished bedrooms. Each bedroom is spacious and delightfully furnished perfect for couples, or solo travellers. For a small fee, room upgrades are available.
