Popular pop-up ping pong prospers

Dolphin Shopping Centre Logo 2Due to the success of its pop-up ping pong parlour, the Dolphin Shopping Centre has continued to offer its free sporting initiative throughout the school holidays.

The ping pong was launched in partnership with the Borough of Poole link will open in new window and Table Tennis England as a six-week scheme but now shoppers are being given an extended opportunity to play ping pong while they shop.

The three tables have been moved to the ground floor in the unit opposite River Island and with the schools finished for the summer holidays, it is hoped the ping pong will continue to thrive.

Dolphin Shopping Centre manager John Grinnell said: “The ping pong has been well received by children, shoppers and businesses within the town. It’s a great initiative and a free activity anyone can enjoy. The tables will be available every day and we hope everyone has a chance to play.”
