Tudor Christmas: Storytelling 
Free event - normal admission applies.   Booking not required.
Join our Lord of Misrule on a journey through the romantic ruins. Find out about the rich history of Tudor traditions and maybe participate in a play or a game or two. Please note storytelling on 21st December will end at 4pm.

During the reign of Elizabeth I, Christmas was a mixed affair with traditions travelling back to the middle ages. In Tudor times the rich and poor might find themselves at the same festivities. A time when a commoner might rule for a day and a lord wait upon them.

11am, 12.30pm, 2pm and 3pm.
When the castle is open for Winterlights until 7pm storytelling will continue at 4.45pm, 5pm, 6pm and 6.15pm.

Free event - Normal Admission applies.   Booking not required.
Christmas is a magical time at Corfe Castle. Take in the festive atmosphere with our contemporary lanterns, braziers, beacons and lighting as you explore the castle grounds. Please note winter lights on 21st December is cancelled.
Open until 7pm for Winter Lights on Sat 9, Fri 15, Sat 16, Mon 18 - Wed 20, Fri 22 - Sat 23 & Wed 27 - Sat 30 Dec.

Join us on 9, 15 & 16 December for a Tudor Christmas feast beside the roaring log fire in our tea-rooms, featuring authentic period recipes accompanied by mulled wine and mead.

This is an evening event and subject to minimum numbers being achieved. Each evening coincides with the Winter Lights. You are invited to absorb the festive atmosphere of the castle ruins before sitting down for a taste of Tudor time by the log fire in our Tea Rooms.

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Dogs on leads are welcome.
If you're visiting after dusk please bring a torch for the walk from the car park up to the castle.
The interactive storyteller will take you through the castle; there are steps, steep slopes, and uneven paths - please wear appropriate footwear.
There is wheelchair access to the outer bailey only.
