Cockfight, a darkly humorous and surprisingly tender piece of dance theatre by The Farm is a cross between The Office and an Australian-style cage-fight, the production explores the power play between men, the frailty of the ageing body and questions culture’s desperate desire for achievement.

A game of comical one-upmanship between two men in an office (one older, one younger) builds to a moment of impact where everything is suspended. Their physical action is underpinned by a fierce co-dependency in a duet of slow-motion fight sequences, interlocking rolls and tackles and Buster Keaton-esque battles of supremacy.
