Or you could do the opposite and start your day by coming on board in Swanage and making your way to Poole. Swanage was transformed during the Victorian era into a seaside resort and has now settled down into an atmospheric town with a long beach, interesting shops, fresh air and delicious food. On this trip you can enjoy two and a half or five hours ashore before returning once more to either Poole or Swanage, seeing for another time, spectacular rock formations and open blue seas.
