About

Stunning coastal views, crisp, clean air, and the best of Bournemouth and Poole – what's not to love!

This event has something for everyone – elite athlete or brand new to running, young or old. Run Bournemouth brings many distances together in one unique festival of running. The routes take in the beautiful beachfront location with the iconic beach-huts, as well as taking you onto Boscombe and Bournemouth Piers.

All runners receive a commemorative t-shirt, medal, chip-timing, training and fundraising support. Simply choose a distance from half marathon, 10k, 5k, Junior and Kids runs, and be a part of this exciting event. To secure your #TeamLivability place, you can complete the application at the Livability website (www.livability.org.uk/runbournemouth) which requires raising a minimum sponsorship, or secure your own place at 2022 Run Bournemouth and submit the info to the website.

By joining #TeamLivability you will help to support services like Livability Victoria School, a specialist school for children with complex disabilities in Poole, plus Livability Holton Lee, in Holton Heath from where we run our Flourish horticultural therapy programme.

Livability is the disability charity that's committed to enabling children, young people, and adults to live a life that adds up for them. What makes life livable is never down to just one thing – it's the sum of many things. From friendship to fun; from companionship to community; from thrill-seeking to thriving – it all adds up to Livability.

Through a wide range of disability care, special education, and rehabilitation services, we promote inclusion and well-being for all. Together, we work to see people take part, contribute, and be valued. We put the elements in place that all add up to connected lives.
