Poole Park Life Celebration Day

Bunting with colours and white cut out shapes and two people on a kayak

About

Join us for our end of project Celebration Day! 10am – 5pm on the Cricket Pitch.

This is a free event and will include Jamie Jigsaw Circus skills, characters from Poole Park’s past, a sound tour, arts and crafts, face painting, sports, yoga, dance, bowling, petanque and much much more!

We are marking the end of 8 years of planning and improvement works in Poole Park. Look out on social media for more details!

This year will be our last community Fun Day and we plan to celebrate in style!

The aims of the event are:

To celebrate completion of the Poole Park Life project, all that has been achieved and to thank all those involved

To inform visitors of the story of Poole Park and its heritage

To involve local community groups so they can promote what they offer locally, as well as give tasters of activities in an outdoor setting

To offer a range of free or low cost activities for local people of all ages, allowing them to enjoy spending time in ‘the people’s park’

Thanks to additional funding, this event has now been expanded to include local artists, poets and actors to offer a range of story-telling, experiences and activities for visitors to enjoy.
