Keep Smiling Through - A Celebration For The 75th Anniversary Of D-Day

About

Following their annual sell out Christmas Spectacular, the Glad Rag Production Company are proud to bring you a D-Day commemoration like no other. Our talented cast of singers and dancers will take you back to the 1940s to reminisce over a by-gone era of beautiful music, dancing and British nostalgia. Featuring vintage vocal harmonies from 'The Bluestockings'.

Our cast will transport you back to the 1940’s performing wartime favourites such as ‘Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy’, ‘Underneath the Arches’ and ‘The Lambeth Walk’. With pieces on evacuation, the armed forces and even a pub sing-along, this wartime spectacle will present lots of aspects of the war in an all singing, all dancing celebration that is sure to get you ‘In the mood’.

Our company will pay tribute to this country’s rich history with beautiful music, dancing and British nostalgia. So join us in June to sing a-long, wave your flag and help us celebrate what it means to be British. We will remember them.

From Vera Lynn to Flanagan and Allen and Glenn Miller, this show commemorates all aspects of WW2 paying tribute to our country’s rich history. Come and join us to wave your flag, sing along and help us celebrate what it means to be British! We will remember them.
