Just for Laughs are offering a chance to tread the boards at the Regent Studio in Christchurch, where they are running a taster session for Adult Beginners Drama Classes. The taster session is on Thursday 2 May at 11am – 12.30pm and will give everyone the chance to find out whether they are a dramatic Dame Judi Dench, a budding Dame Barbara Windsor or even a suave Sir Kenneth Branagh!

However, you don’t have to be a Dame or a Knight of stage and screen to enjoy this Adult Beginners Drama Class taster session. The emphasis is very much having a fun and a creative morning to begin the day with a very friendly group of mixed ability.

This taster session is great for confidence building and making new friends. No preparation is needed, so simply turn up, join in and have a go!  There are just 20 places available for the taster session, so advance booking on www.regentcentre.co.uk or at the Regent Box Office is highly recommended.

Adult Beginners Drama Course

Those who enjoy the Adult Beginners Drama taster session will then have a chance to sign up for a 6 week Adult Beginners Drama course that is due to begin on Thursday 9 May 11am – 12.30pm. The six week course will be  just £45 per person.

The Adult Beginners Drama sessions have been devised and are run by the Regent’s Admin and Drama Assistant, Vicky Semple, who has a Diploma in Recorded & Performing Arts from CAPA – the Creative & Performing Arts College in Wakefield.
