The Teddy Bear Museum

The Teddy Bear Museum

About

Don't miss Edward Bear and his family of people-sized bears in this unique museum.  Filled with evocative and atmospheric displays of teddy bears developed throughout the 20th century, from the earliest bears right up until today’s TV favourites, they are all there waiting to greet you at this enchanting family museum.  Set in the ‘house’ of Edward Bear, a human sized teddy bear and avid bear collector, visitors can enjoy his extensive collection.

Meet Michael, the museum's oldest bear, made in 1906 who is based on the original teddy bear design and pattern as well as famous bears such as Rupert Bear, Winnie the Pooh and Paddington. The whole visit is great nostalgic fun!

Open Apr-Sept 10am - 5pm, Oct-Mar 10am-4pm.
