Music, fun and fireworks at Poole’s Sensational Summer Breeze

Summer Breeze Logo 2017Six magical Thursdays of free music, family entertainment and fireworks will be taking place on Poole Quay from 27 July overlooking the harbour as Dorset’s longest running major summer firework display returns.

As the sun sets, get ready to party on Poole Quay with fantastic bands every week ranging from talented up and coming artists to the best local performers with a band each week courtesy of Mr Kyps.  From rock, pop and soul to 40’s & 50’s swing, there will be music to suit every taste and following last year’s triumph the final night of the season will see the return of the magnificent Mungo Jerry on 31 August supported by Mr Kyps link will open in new window.

Sponsored by Tower Park-based motor dealership Breeze Volkswagen, the free family event is part of Poole’s Wave 105 Summertime in the Southand brings six weeks of the best party action, bands and street entertainers to Poole Quay before ending with a dazzling firework display over the harbour at 10pm every Thursday evening until the end of August.

As well as fantastic bands every week there will be street entertainers along the quay performing all sorts of tricks and skills to keep both adults & kids amused.

John Corderoy, Managing Director of Breeze Volkswagen, said: “As a local business we want to invest in our town and do things to support the local community.  Summer Breeze has been a huge part of that and it’s wonderful to be involved in something that has such a legacy, getting people out and enjoying everything that Poole has to offer.”

 Poole Quay will be closed to vehicles for the event from 6pm.
