After the disappointing weather last week, Poole Quay was blessed with a dry and sunny summers evening, attracting nearly 1000 bikes to the event.

Congratulations to James Browning of Gosport who won the ‘Bike of the Night’ title on his black and green Honda.  James said “With my father I have worked hard on the bike to give a modern take on an old café racer.  It was originally bought as a box of bits for £400”.

James rode home with a race kit courtesy of Muc-Off.  Judge for the night was Keith Reeves, bike enthusiast who chose the bike because of the amount of work and attention to detail”.

As a Bike of the Night winner, James will also be invited to take part in the “Bike of the Year” finale, sponsored by APlan Motorcycle Insurance link will open in new window at the end of the season, with cash prizes on offer for the top three places.

If you’re an avid biker, don't forget we have a limited stock of season armbands from Poole Tourist Information Centre (now located within Poole Museum) which give access to the whole season for £8.   Please note you will not be able to trade in your £1 entry ticket on the event night.
