Poole Dream Machines Bike of the Night Winner 4 July

Bike of the Night Winner 4 July 2017

L to R: Judge Lloyd Thom and Winner Nigel Barratt

Poole Quay welcomed an evening of sunshine as over 800 bikers parked up to enjoy another Tuesday “Dream Machines” and the Quay was bustling with spectators enjoying the atmosphere.

Congratulations to Nigel Barratt from Ringwood who won the ‘Bike of the Night’ title with his Honda CB450 ‘Black Bomber’. Nigel said “it’s rare bike, technically very advanced and Honda’s first ‘real’ big engined bike.”  Nigel rode home with a race kit courtesy of Muc-Off, and a goodie bag from Lester Aldridge link will open in new window.

Judge for the night, Lloyd Thom, enthusiast chose the bike because “it’s a stunning restoration and rare.   It’s the first production twin overhead camshaft worldwide.”

If you’re an avid biker, don't forget we have a limited stock of season armbands from Poole Tourist Information Centre (now located within Poole Museum) which give access to the whole season for £8.   Please note you will not be able to trade in your £1 entry ticket on the event night.
