A dry and cloudy evening saw 450 bikes travelling to Poole Quay to attend the weekly Dream Machines on Poole Quay, despite a cold wind.

Congratulations to Troy Young from Parkstone, Poole who won the ‘Bike of the Night’ title on his Vespa GS.  Troy drew it at age of 16 and built it aged 50!  The bodywork has been totally customised and the bike has a race spec engine.

Troy rode home with a race kit courtesy of Muc-Off.  Judge for the night was Martin Beckwith from Bats Hogsty chose the bike because “it’s a totally customised bike, that’s been well executed and so different to anything else”.

As a Bike of the Night winner, Troy will also be invited to take part in the “Bike of the Year” finale, sponsored by APlan Motorcycle Insurance link will open in new window at the end of the season, with cash prizes on offer for the top three places.

If you’re an avid biker, don't forget we have a limited stock of season armbands from Poole Tourist Information Centre (now located within Poole Museum) which give access to the whole season for £8.
