Bike of the Night Winner 26th April

A day which went from sun to snow, saw 180 bikes brave the changing weather to attend the weekly Dream Machines on Poole Quay.

Congratulations to John Fear from Wimborne who won the ‘Bike of the Night’ title on his Blue AJS.  John said “I have had the bike two years and plan further renovations - it’s a youthful desire!”.

John rode home with a race kit courtesy of Muc-Off.  Judge for the night was Mike Lawrence from Bournemouth Bikes link will open in new window who chose the bike because “it’s a classic British bike, rarely seen, in beautiful condition”.

As a Bike of the Night winner, John will also be invited to take part in the “Bike of the Year” finale, sponsored by APlan Motorcycle Insurance link will open in new window at the end of the season, with cash prizes on offer for the top three places.

If you’re an avid biker, don't forget we have a limited stock of season armbands from Poole Tourist Information Centre (now located within Poole Museum) which give access to the whole season for £8.   Please note you will not be able to trade in your £1 entry ticket on the event night.
