Poole Audi, Dorset's only new and Approved Used Audi Centre has had its most busy and successful season to date.

The summer months have been full of new products; new personnel and promotional events that have exceeded any that have gone before.

The new cars that have made an impact this summer include the luxurious A8, which was launched at an event that saw over 250sq m of blackout material plunge the 400sq m Poole showroom into complete darkness for the spectacular unveiling of the car to over 70 guests.

Not to be outdone, the flagship TT had a face lift and arrived at the Ringwood Road showroom in July with new look bumpers and front styling with an additional 11bhp packaged alongside some very impressive fuel economy and made a headlining appearance at the well-attended 'TT on the Quay' later on in the month. This event was a real record breaker boasting 97 TTs on display, together, beating the previous record of 73 in 2009!

August saw a sneak preview of the A1 (first deliveries are expected in November) for one day only - a select gathering of press and clients wondered at the newest member of the Audi stable, the 1.6 TDI manual in Amalfi White with Daytona Grey contrast lines that had a stunning Wasabi Green interior was a real head turner, and it did Poole Audi proud as many orders have subsequently been placed.

In July the company secured an impressive fleet deal with the UK's largest privately owned health club group, Fitness First, the deal sees around 70 Audi vehicles supplied to gym managers and staff over the next four years!

July also saw the appointment of sales director Mark Laming who was additionally welcomed to the board of directors - Mark has brought with him over 24 years of experience in the motor industry working from sales executive to sales director in that time.

Mark joined at a landmark stage of Poole Audi's dominance of the Dorset motor trade - just as it celebrated its 10^th anniversary. Over 100 members of staff past and present joined in a family fun day where the commitment and service of everyone involved in the Poole Audi success story was recognised. And from the original team of 27 back in 2000 five employees are still with the business today.

The summer has seen some wonderful developments and achievements by Poole Audi and one can only imagine what 2011 holds for the leading Poole firm, which boasts a turnover of £30m and is creator of over 100 jobs locally.
