Poole will be pulsing to the beat of African drums on 1 July as the first Summer Breeze on the Quay launches a glorious celebration of summer events across the town.

As part of Wave 105's Summertime in the South, Summer Breeze, sponsored by Tower Park-based motor dealership Breeze Volkswagen, kicks off a fabulous mix of live music and family fun on Poole Quay, every Thursday in July. 

Get a little of the World Cup party atmosphere without the football as Afric Arts African dance and drumming workshops take to Poole Quay followed by the Brazilian style and passion of steel band Samba Panache.  Local Summer Breeze favourites Black Sheep will be providing the cool sounds of Celtic rock.  There will be plenty for families to do with a special children's disco and rides, Dolphin Cheer Leaders and street entertainers including a stilt walker.  The evening finishes with spectacular fireworks over Poole Quay at 10pm.

In August the action to Shore Road, Sandbanks as Summer Breeze on the beach takes to Poole's golden sands every Thursday night.
