Built in 1761, the historic Guildhall in the heart of Poole's old town is the home of the Borough of Poole's Registration Service and provides a charming venue for ceremonies.

The stunning Grade II* listed building, has a wealth of history attached to it. In the past it has had many uses, including being used as a magistrate's court, temporary parish church, a canteen, a meeting room for American soldiers during the Second World War, a teaching room as well as the town museum.

The Guildhall, after its recent refurbishment, now looks stunning and is the perfect venue for your ceremony. Its main feature is a large ceremony room, which can accommodate 120 guests. A smaller room is also available which seats approximately 10 guests.

The Guildhall has an awe inspiring façade with its cast iron and stone staircase presenting a grand backdrop for photographs.

Due to popular demand, from 2011 the Guildhall will be opening their doors on a Saturday afternoon (previously only available on Saturday mornings).
