Access Guide & Information for Disabled Visitors

We hope that with the help of this information your holiday will be happy and smooth-running without the frustration that can sometimes result from a lack of local information.

Poole welcomes all visitors, and our popular Shopmobility Scheme helps to provide those who are less mobile with an opportunity to shop and get around at ease. The level areas of the High Street, Old Town and Quay compliment the warmth and comfort of the indoor Dolphin Shopping Centre where Shopmobility is located in the adjacent Kingland Road Car Park.

This information has been produced with the support and co-operation of local disabled persons groups, but we welcome your comments, so please let us know about any good or bad experiences during your visit where they concern accessibility or welcome.

For further information on specialised holiday accommodation, leisure services, parking and transport for the less able visitors download your copy of The Access Guide to Poole or check out the pages on the website, shown to the right hand side of this page.

Text Relay is a telephone-based service for deaf and hard of hearing customers who wish to use a textphone to contact us. To contact Poole Tourism using Text Relay dial 18001 01202 262 533

While considerable care has been taken in the research of the information, details are subject to change. It is always advisable to check the information before use, as there are varying degrees of disability and specific requirements should be made clear in advance. Please tell us of any inaccuracy you discover so that we can correct it for future use. Please email tourism@pooletourism.com
