Enjoy a perfect Autumn day with the amazing sights, colours and delights of National Trust Brownsea Island. Red squirrel spotting is a must and Autumn is the perfect time to see them on the ground and in low branches. Opening dates and times vary. See website for details.

Take your time with a morning of shopping at The Dolphin Shopping Centre, Dorset’s largest indoor centre with a host of over high street brands. Use the Route One bus service that links the quay and shopping centre every 15 mins (excluding Sundays).

Afternoon Activities

Enjoy one of Poole’s five individual and unique beaches in the quieter periods to take in the beautiful views and stunning coastal scenery including Sandbanks, which is winner of more Blue Flags than any other UK beach resort. A stop at Sandbanks Beach Café or Branksome Beach restaurant at Branksome Chine Beach is a must for afternoon tea or a heavenly hot chocolate.

A wealth of wildlife and superb autumn colours can be enjoyed throughout Upton Country Park with lots of wide open spaces and the popular play trail – with its different natural timber structures.  The welcoming tea rooms also host changing exhibitions of art at  The Gallery Upstairs, Coach drop/collection off area, parking charges may apply for waiting times, please T: 01202 262753 for details.

Evening Activities
Enjoy a show at Lighthouse – The largest arts centre outside London, with group discount available.
