Morning Activities

Follow the level harbour footpath along the quayside passing through Harbourside Park and onto beautiful Poole Park. The lake is at the centre and is surrounded by facilities such as tennis courts, a bowling green, The Ark – soft play, ice skating and café, The Kitchen & Scoops Ice Cream Parlour.


Three miles out of town you will find Upton Country Park with over 100 acres of parkland, shoreline and formal estate gardens. Stay for a delicious cream tea or light lunch available in either the tea rooms or the stunning setting of the Grade II listed Georgian mansion, Upton House (subject to availability).



Afternoon Activities

Take a short journey from Poole Quay to Compton Acres - 10 acres of beautiful gardens reputed to be the finest in Europe and voted the UK’s top tourist attraction by Trip Advisor in 2016.

A visit to Poole’s stunning Blue Flag beaches, including Britain’s best beach, Sandbanks is a must. Equipment is available to hire and activities include volleyball nets, crazy golf, play area and Sandbanks Beach Café.
