Bike of the Night Winner 13 June

L to R: Winners Andy & Fiona Harrison, Judges The Pirates of Poole

Sunshine was the order of the day for this weeks Tuesday Poole Dream Machines, which takes place each Tuesday throughout the summer from 6pm, and over 950 bikes turned up to enjoy a warm summery evening on Poole Quay.

Congratulations to Andy & Fiona Harrison from Poole who won the ‘Bike of the Night’ title on their 2 ltr Ford Pinto.  Joint owners Andy & Fiona built the bike by hand and regularly update the colours. They both rode home with a race kit courtesy of Muc-Off, and a goodie bag from Lester Aldridge.

Judges for the night, The Pirates of Poole, chose the bike because “it was a pirate themed, gothic bike with everything a one off.”  The Pirates of Poole, added to the atmosphere by encouraging everyone to come along and join in with pirate mayhem on Saturday 17th at Poole’s annual Harry Paye Pirate Day, on Poole Quay.

If you’re an avid biker, don't forget we have a limited stock of season armbands from Poole Tourist Information Centre (now located within Poole Museum) which give access to the whole season for £8.   Please note you will not be able to trade in your £1 entry ticket on the event night.
