Summer Breeze on the Quay 2014

Summer Breeze line up 28 July 16Poole Quay will be basking ‘In the summertime’ on Thursday 28 July as the free Summer Breeze festival returns from 7pm.

Thanks to support from Mr Kyps, renown singer Mungo Jerry will be headlining at the Fish Shambles opposite the Lord Nelson at time on Poole Quay, playing some big hits and songs from Rewind, the latest critically acclaimed album.

Music continues on the night with duo Not Just Sax opposite the Poole Arms, keyboard from Karl Lattimer plus Soul & Jazz from Bafaana at the Custom House.

John Corderoy, Managing Director of Breeze Volkswagen, said: “This week’s line up is a real treat and this is a fantastic chance to see a performer whose music will create the perfect summer party feel.  As a free event, Summer Breeze is just ideal for soaking up the atmosphere, enjoying the long evenings and experiencing something uniquely Poole.”

Try some traditional dance with morris & maypole dancing or budding performers can brush up on their circus skills at Jamie Jigsaw’s Circus Workshop.  Take home some top tips from the expert – from juggling and plate spinning, to diabolo and ribbon twirling, there will be something for all ages and all abilities.  There’s plenty more for families to do including children’s rides, bouncy castle plus entertainment from street performers including unicycling!

The evening finishes with spectacular fireworks over Poole’s iconic harbour at 10pm.

Poole Quay will be closed to vehicles for the event from 6pm.
