Summer Breeze HeaderGet ready for summer as Poole’s spectacular Summer Breeze party kicks off on Thursday 21 July with fabulous live music, entertainment and fireworks from 7pm.

The free family event, sponsored by Tower Park-based motor dealership Breeze Volkswagen, is part of Poole’s Wave 105 Summertime in the Southand brings six weeks of the best party action, bands and street entertainers to Poole Quay before ending with a dazzling firework display over the harbour at 10pm every Thursday evening until the end of August.

One of over 60 free events taking place in Poole this summer, the first Summer Breeze will see flamboyant hard rock and big hair from Saints of Sin supported by Mr Kyps.  There will be classic covers from the Usual Suspects, keyboard from Karl Lattimer, soulful tunes from up and coming singer/songwriter Tara Flanagan plus Latin party rhythms from Solatin at the Custom House

John Corderoy, Managing Director of Breeze Volkswagen, said: “We are really proud of supporting Summer Breeze and being part of an event that brings such a brilliant family party atmosphere to Poole.  The talented musicians and entertainers put on such a great show, it’s a real treat and Poole Quay is the just the best location to see them.”

On the night  families will be able to hone their skills at the hoola hoop workshop and use up some holiday energy on the bouncy castle whilst street entertainers delight the crowds with their Covent Garden style acts.

Please note Poole Quay will be closed to vehicles for the event from 6pm.
